** Posted for Paula McFarland **

Hello, my name is Paula McFarland.  I am a resident of Tellico Village.  I do volunteer work for Feral Feline Friends, the non-profit group that works with Petsmart to provide cats and kittens at the adoption center at the Petsmart in Turkey Creek.  I'm sure many residents purchase pet food and other things pet related from this store.  I would like to post a notice for an upcoming Adoption Event scheduled for Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at the Farragut Turkey Creek Petsmart location.  Many wonderful, loving cats and kittens will be available for adoption.  They all have been spayed, neutered, are current on their shots, are de-wormed and tested for feline leukemia.  I plan to be at the event myself in a volunteer capacity, and would love to see my neighbors there.

TIME: 1PM - 5PM

In addition, Feral Feline Friends, the organization that works with Petsmart, is looking for people who can foster cats and/or kittens prior to placement in permanent homes.  If anyone is interested in fostering in any capacity, they can make application at the adoption event, or they can contact me at 865-657-9578.

Finally, friend us at our Facebook page at the following link:

Thank you for this opportunity to get the word out for this event.

Regards,

Paula McFarland

Hello potential clients,

My name is Jackie, mother if 2 (not living in the home).  I currently work full time as a sales representative for a very well known house cleaning company (I am not offering house cleaning services or trying to gain business for my company).

I would like to offer my services to watch your vacation, seasonal rentals, on the market, or full time residences.  I would also be willing to watch pets if necessary (I am comfortable with everything from snakes to horses).

Services would included, but are not limited to: Daily/weekly check on home/property, bring in mail, run water, flush toilets, water plants, etc. I am available to stay in the home if required.

Confidentiality, safety, professional work ethics, and quality are just a few of the benefits to having me care for your home during your absence.

I am able to provide a background check, drug screen, resume, professional and personal references (upon request).  You may contact me directly at (310) 818-1120.

I look forward to providing you with superior services, thank you for your consideration.

TWRA catches Tellico Village bear
Stoney  Sharp
Sunday May 23, 2010

TWRA officials have confirmed that the bear was caught around midnight on Friday. Trainers received word that the bear was about a mile down the road from his first spotting, so they moved the trap.
The bear is currently in a holding area. He will be relocated tomorrow morning to Cherokee National Forest. TWRA officers said the bear was very docile
